Colors and technologies

Over 30 years of experience in glass decoration allow us to offer customers almost complete freedom of execution. We can create customized decorations using up to 8 different colors, and our extensive color warehouse offers an almost limitless range of shades.

Colors

The colors used in the various decoration processes are of two types: inorganic and organic colors.
Inorganic colors ensure perfect durability of the decoration, as the glass-based pigment fuses with the glass during the annealing process (thermo-fusibility), making the decoration an integral part of the glass itself, and thus resistant to wear.

Organic colors are characterized by refined transparency, adhere perfectly to the glass surface, and ensure resistance and long-lasting performance.

With the right layering techniques, it is possible to achieve a wide variety of decorative effects, from solid colors to mesh-like patterns to watercolor-style finishes, in virtually any hue.
All colors used are completely safe for food contact and contain no heavy metals.

Screen printing

Screen printing on glass is a decoration technique based on layering colors, allowing direct printing of any logo, graphic, or design onto the external surface of glass containers of any type (soda-lime, recycled, borosilicate…), as long as they have a cylindrical or conical shape.

Pad printing

Pad printing on glass is an indirect decoration technique that enables the printing of logos, graphics, and designs in up to two colors on the surface of a glass container, in areas where screen printing is not feasible (for example, on the foot or stem of a wine glass or on the bottom of a tumbler).

Laser decoration
& Perlage Point

This technique decorates glass through CO₂ laser engraving, where the generated energy produces a laser beam that etches the glass surface.

Laser engraving on the inside bottom of the glass can also create a nucleation point that enhances the perlage effect of bubbles typical of certain wines, beers, and sparkling beverages.

Spraying

Glass spraying is a versatile technique that allows the application of uniform colors and finishes.
